RACE-Approved CE Workshops for Veterinary Teams
Veterinary professionals face extraordinary pressures — balancing clinical excellence with emotional demands, long hours, and constant cognitive load. My workshops are designed to give your teams evidence-based, practical strategies that make a real difference in daily veterinary practice.
I’m thrilled to share that both of my resilience-focused workshops are now RACE-approved and available to schedule for your team, association, or conference – available online or on-site.
1-Hour Workshop (1 CEU)
The Neuropsychology of Resilience: Polyvagal Practices for Sustainable Veterinary Medicine
This highly engaging session introduces veterinary professionals to the science of resilience through the lens of Polyvagal Theory. Participants learn to recognize nervous system states in themselves and others, and leave with practical, state-based tools they can use right away in the clinic.
3-Hour Workshop (2.5 CEUs)
The Science of Resilience: Polyvagal and Cognitive Load Practices for Veterinary Well-Being
This in-depth workshop explores how stress and cognitive overload impact veterinary teams, and what to do about it. Through interactive teaching, reflection, and applied strategies, participants learn how to:
Reduce cognitive overload in high-pressure settings
Apply Polyvagal-informed regulation tools
Reframe unhelpful thought patterns to sustain focus and empathy
Teams walk away with a personalized action plan for resilience they can immediately integrate into daily practice.
Why These Workshops Stand Out
Unlike typical “resilience talks,” these sessions go beyond surface-level stress tips. Rooted in neuroscience, positive psychology, and applied clinical examples, they give participants the tools to recognize what’s happening in their own minds and bodies — and reset effectively.
