Parents of ND Kids EI Group

Parenting a child with high functioning autism or Aspergers can present unique challenges that require a specific set of skills. Our 12-week emotional intelligence coaching group is designed to demystify the “soft skills” and help you, as a parent, develop those skills so you can be better equipped to support your child in their social and emotional development.

Led by Dr. Kelly Baez, a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years of experience, our group is 12 weeks long and meets online every Tuesday from 12-1 pm EST.

By participating in our group, you will:

  1. Develop your emotional intelligence: Our group will provide you with the tools you need to recognize and manage your own emotions, as well as understand and empathize with your child’s emotions.
  2. Build effective communication skills: Communication is key to supporting your child’s social and emotional development. Our group will teach you how to communicate more effectively with your child, and provide you with strategies to help your child communicate more effectively as well.
  3. Support your child’s social and emotional development: Children with high functioning autism or Aspergers often require extra support in developing their social and emotional skills. Our group will demystify these “soft skills” by breaking them down into 15 specific skills and equip you with the strategies you need to support your child’s development in these areas.
  4. Reduce stress and increase resilience: Parenting a child with high functioning autism or Aspergers can be stressful. Our group will provide you with the tools you need to tolerate stress and increase resilience, allowing you to better cope with the challenges of parenting.

The cost of our 12-week emotional intelligence coaching group is $960, which can be broken up into three monthly payments. We limit our group to 10 participants to ensure that each participant receives personalized attention and support. An EI assessment with private debrief is recommended but not required.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to develop the EI skills you need to better connect with your child AND support their social and emotional development. Sign up today!
